| There are many hidden treasures here on the southeast side of the lake that most people visiting deep creek lake never will know about. |

| Randolph Jennings Lake is 6 miles from home. (see map c2 next to play room) The lake is about a one fourth the size of Deep Creek.(952 acres) It boarders both Maryland and West Virginia and is a result of damming the Potomac river, It is a public lake and only cost $5 to drop your boat in on Maryland side. The road to lake and ramp are a little steep but well worth it. I have never seen more then 15 boats on the entire lake. It is a great place to ski, tube, fish or swim and not worry about getting run over when DCL gets crazy on weekends. |

| There are many other hidden treasures such as parks, trails, overlooks and scenic drives including Savage, New Germany, Swallow Falls State Parks and many senic drives such as MD 135 towards Luke. Steep mountains of West Virginia and Maryland state line driving on top of Backbone Mountain. The valley views are breathtaking. There is s also a quick back way into Oakland and all of the antique stores if that is what you enjoy to do. See one of the many wall maps throughout the house. |

| The house is only 1.3 miles to the lake. It is right behind us through Sky Valley and Thousand Acres. We are only 6 miles from downtown deep creek and the movie theater. You can enjoy the peacefulness of the southeast side of the lake yet quickly be where all the action is. |
